My name is Erin Tyson and I am going into my seventh year teaching French in the United States. I attended Appalachian State University in North Carolina where I got my degree and moved to Morocco after graduation. Prior to teaching in the US, I taught English to French and Arabic speakers in Morocco for two years and also spent a semester teaching English in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Once back in the US, I have taught French for three years to high school students, three years to middle school students, and this is my first year teaching French in the French Immersion setting in first grade. I will be team teaching with Mrs. Erin Webb this year. I will be instructing the students in French for math and science while Mrs. Webb instructs the students in English for ELA and Social Studies.
I speak French and Arabic fluently and love to travel with my family!
