This week we started a new unit in writing. This nine weeks we will focus on a variety of types of non-fiction and informational writing. We began working on our autobiographies this week. I discussed with students that an autobiography is a non-fiction story about a real person written by that person. The students spent this week outlining and planning information that they wish to share in their autobiographies. We will begin writing them next week. One of the pages in their autobiography is about what the students wish for in their future or about what they dream to become. Below I have posted videos of the students and their dreams. We also discussed and read biographies on Martin Luther King Jr. this week and talked about what his dream was for the United States and world. Hope you enjoy!
