To finish out our unit of study on How To Books this week, the students and I worked through the process and steps of how to make moon rocks. The students were amazed of how baking soda when mixed with water turns into a dough that could be used to make a dough. The students then shaped the dough into balls like rocks and added glitter and liquid watercolors to them to add color/design. The students and I then wrote down the steps we took in order to make the moon rocks and then in return wrote and illustrated their own How To Make A Moon Rock Book.
