We had a blast today on our Field Trip to Publix. A big THANK YOU to the parents that went with us. (Mrs. Whitman, Mrs. Walk, Mrs. Robinson, and Ms. Beachman) The students took a tour of the store and visited the various departments. They got to watch a baker make a rose out of icing for a wedding cake, view live and fresh seafood in the meat department and even went in the storage area in the back. The students got to go in the big walk-in freezer for just a few seconds to see how cold it has to be to keep the food fresh. The students even went home with a cookie card good for 12 free cookies each time they visit Publix. It was definitely a fun time had by all!

AuthorMy name is Erin Webb and I am going into my fourteenth year teaching. I taught kindergarten in Summerville, SC for one year before moving to Rock Hill after getting married. Since being in Rock Hill, I have been teaching first grade at Rosewood Elementary International School. This will be my sixth year teaching using the Dual Language Model. I will be team teaching with Monsieur Joseph McFadden. I am very excited about what the coming year has to offer! Archives
