The students spent this whole week working in groups to create new rules for our classroom or Rosewood. The students had to apply what they learned about rules, their importance, the absence of rules, and one's beliefs and values to help come up with their group's rule. Students then made posters representing their rule and presented them to the class. The students then reviewed the voting process by voting for their favorite :new" rule. Finally, students reflected on their rule and had to determine what would happen if their rule was broken and why it was an important rule to have. AuthorMy name is Erin Webb and I am going into my fourteenth year teaching. I taught kindergarten in Summerville, SC for one year before moving to Rock Hill after getting married. Since being in Rock Hill, I have been teaching first grade at Rosewood Elementary International School. This will be my sixth year teaching using the Dual Language Model.
